Dr. Plamena Drenakova

Dr. Plamen Dimitrov Drenakova was born on 23.02.1982 in the town. Varna. She graduated high school in 2001 PMG “Nancho Popovich” in Shumen with honors. During the period 2001 – 2007 she studied medicine at the Medical University Sofia. She graduated with honors in the same year and began work in University Hospital “St. Anna – Varna” as an doctor-intern. In 2008, after an examination is assigned specialization in Pediatric Surgery Division of Pediatric Surgery at the Department of General and Operative Surgery of the University Hospital “St. Marina”, Varna. Since 2012 Dr. Drenakova was elected assistant at the Department of General and Operative Surgery of the Medical University “Prof. Dr. P. Stoyanov” Varna.

Dr. Drenakova was involved with over 25 scientific papers and posters at conferences at home and abroad in the field, as well as articles in scientific journals on the following topics: hiatal hernia, laparoscopic resection for rectal cancer, modern treatment of adrenal tumors, liver metastasis, etc.
