Dr. Turgay Kalinov
Biography
Dr. Turgay Kalinov was born in 1992. in Pleven, Bulgaria. He graduated from high school in 2011 at the “Hristo Botev” School in Nikopol with honors. During the period 2011 – 2017 he studied medicine at the Medical University “Prof. Dr. Paraskev Stoyanov” Varna. After graduation he started working in the First Clinic of Surgery of the University Hospital “St. Marina ”in Varna as a surgeon resident.
In 2012 he was awarded an honorary badge with a blue ribbon by MU-Varna on the occasion of his overall contribution to the development of active student self-government at the university and the creation of the official website of the Student Council at the University.

Dr. Kalinov has participated in over 25 scientific reports and posters at conferences in the country and abroad on the following topics: hiatal hernia, laparoscopic treatment of appendectomies, minimally invasive extraction of stones from the bile ducts and others.
